NEED A ROOMMATE?
Let us try to pair you with another conference participant.
Please keep in mind a couple of things:
1. We only pair participants for the days of the actual event - Thursday to Monday. (Tuesday for those joining us on Fire Island for the RoundDown)
2. Let the Housing Chair know the dates of your arrival and departure so that he can pair you with someone who is also staying for the same number of days.
3. GSI is not responsible for paying for rooms. To those seeking a roommate, one person will need to *make a reservation and then the pair will need to decide their preferred method and timeline. Once you are paired up with a roommate, you must commit to your roommate and honor your commitment to share the hotel costs.
THE DEADLINE TO REQUEST A ROOMMATE IS MAY 1ST.
*Someone needs to reserve the room and leave a credit/debit card number to hold the room. There is not deposit required when reserving a room. The card on file is charged when you check-out of the hotel on the last day of the conference. If you reserve a room and don't show up, then your card will be charged. It is between you and your roommate to handle reimbursements like Venmo and such. There is a Resort/Destination Fee for GSM bookings.
