Sober Sex!
*gay men focused
Our time together will center around the challenging but rewarding journey of shifting from substance-induced artificial erotic experience to authentic erotic exchange and intimacy which can only be obtained when we’re sober and fully embodied. We’ll discuss how this manifests in the different stages of recovery, explore how the life-force of eros comes alive uniquely in each of us and then the role of emotional vulnerability when coming forward with who we are erotically when engaging sexually with others. We’ll also take some time to unpack the treasure chest of available practices that can help us to continue cultivating our capacity to be present for ourselves and others in the sexual arena. There will be lots of time for discussion/Q&A and we’ll finish with an experiential exercise designed to create a deeper felt sense of connection with our sober gay brothers.
