Sober Sex: Nature’s Pathway to True Erotic Intimacy
Our time together will center around the challenging but rewarding journey of shifting from substance-induced artificial erotic experience to authentic erotic exchange and intimacy which can only be obtained when we’re sober and fully embodied. We’ll discuss how this manifests in the different stages of recovery, explore how the life-force of eros comes alive uniquely in each of us and then the role of emotional vulnerability when coming forward with who we are erotically when engaging sexually with others. We’ll also take some time to unpack the treasure chest of available practices that can help us to continue cultivating our capacity to be present for ourselves and others in the sexual arena. There will be lots of time for discussion/Q&A and we’ll finish with an experiential exercise designed to create a deeper felt sense of connection with our sober gay brothers.
Featuring:
Michael Moran, LCSW, CST-S

Rewrite the Story: A Workshop on Identity, Resilience, and Connection
Facilitated by Davis Thompson & Jeremy Long
In recovery—and in life—we often find ourselves living inside old stories that no longer serve us. Stories about who we are, what we’re allowed to feel, and how we should show up. This interactive, movement-based workshop invites participants to explore the narratives that shape their lives—and to begin rewriting them.
Through guided reflection, embodied exercises, and partner sharing, we’ll disrupt default patterns, map where we’re at in our journeys, and make space for something new to emerge.
Expect honesty, laughter, movement, and meaningful connection. You’ll leave with a deeper awareness of your inner landscape and a clearer sense of the story you’re ready to live into next.
