Welcome to the #SuperheroMoment      Challenge!

This is more than just a social media challenge; it's a celebration of the heroes amongst us who inspire every day with their courage and determination.

Get to Know Us

Here’s how you
can participate:

  1. Share your unique #SuperheroMoment on your preferred social media platform. It could be a post, a photo, a video — anything that represents your journey

  2. Tag at least three friends who have been your sidekicks along the way.

  3. Use the hashtag #SuperheroMoment in your post so we can find and celebrate your story, and tag @gayandsober

HOW IT WORKS:

This unique community campaign encourages followers to share their personal stories of resilience, strength, and recovery, defining their superhero moment. To participate in the challenge, entrants can post their story on their social media platforms, tagging @gayandsober and using our hashtag #SuperheroMoment. Then tag at least three friends to do the same. The most inspiring story, chosen by our panel, will win a roundtrip flight to NYC for Pride Weekend, accommodations, and tickets to GSM 2024. 

The deadline to post your stories is Sunday, December 31st, 2023 at 12am eastern time.

AYDIN'S MOMENT

Aydin Eyikan grew up in Connecticut and followed his dreams of dancing on Broadway to New York City. He has starred in Bob Fosse’s DANCIN’ on Broadway, Apple TV's Spirited with Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell, The Music Man on Broadway, The National Tour of WICKED, NBC’s World of Dance, “Boys in the Street” MV for A Great Big Word, and competed at NYCDA National. ALEX'S MOMENT

Alex Ringler is an actor, writer and creator who has been seen in the film BROS, on TV in Harlem and FBI, and on Broadway in West Side Story. His series Annoyingly Fit Neighbor and his short film Haunted have been featured and won awards at several film festivals. He is currently on The National Tour of Mrs. Doubtfire, the Musical. BRUCE'S MOMENT

Bruce W. Brackett is a social media personality, author, entrepreneur, self-taught visual artist, and international motivational speaker. Originally from southwest Montana, BWB moved to NYC at the age of 18 to pursue his dreams of being on Broadway. After many distractions, making it to Off-Broadway, and developing several addictions, meth being a big one, BWB found his true calling and his way back to sobriety through art and by advocating for recovery to his online audience of over 1.2 million people.This online community of recovery fuels BWB’s love, passion, creativity, and mission to share positivity and the possibilities of recovery. ​BWB’s memoir “How To Breathe While Suffocating: A Story About Overcoming Addiction, Recovering From Trauma and Healing My Soul.” will be published and released globally in April 2024. Bruce has sold his artwork and “Negativity Be Gone” hand fans to people in all 50 of the United States and in over 14 countries. BWB now resides with his partner, Teo, and his tuxedo cat, DionE, in the Pocono Mountains, where they enjoy hiking, kayaking, and finding all the beautiful waterfalls. CHARLES'S MOMENT

Charles West is the founder and CEO of Divine Spark Coaching LLC.
